Home Automation/Lighting Control
Home Automation and Lighting Control are usually intergrated with one another and are often confused.
Lighting Control allows you utilise the lighting within your home more effectively. This could include;
• Automatic lights using sensors a child goes to the bathroom at night, the appropriate lights only go to 35% of their normal level, allowing the child to see yet not awaking the whole house. They then turn off after a designated time.
• Welcome Home and Goodbye settings A simple press of a button illuminates the appropriate lights to welcome you home or shuts down all the lighting when leaving.
• Holiday Mode Turns lights on or off to provide a “lived in look” whilst your away.
• Panic Mode You hear a noise and with a simple press of a button next to the bed, all lights are turned on.
Home Automation provides the integration of the numerous systems, allowing them to work together. This could include;
• When leaving the home, a single press of a button shuts down the lighting, air-conditioning, designated appliances and sets the security system.
• When arriving home, pressing the roller door button, not only opens the roller doors, but also disarms the security system, turns on lights and air conditioner.
The level of intergration and control is only limited to your imagination and new product developments has provided a far more user friendly environment than a few years ago. No longer are you confronted by panels of buttons that only serve to confuse you and your family.
